Meet Vicky
As a young teenager, I struggled with being severely overweight and feeling uncomfortable in my own skin. For many years, I battled with bulimia, an eating disorder that took a toll on both my body and mind. My university years weren’t much healthier - they were filled with partying, binge drinking, and my meals mainly consisted of vodka and mashed potatoes.
It was during this time that I discovered my passion for powerlifting. Lifting weights gave me a sense of strength and power I’d never felt before. It wasn’t just about changing my body, it was about reclaiming my confidence and realizing what my body was capable of, instead of what it looked like. This journey led me to compete in powerlifting, in 2022, I entered my first British national competition with the British Drug-Free Powerlifting Association – and I won!
I’m on a mission to help others experience that same sense of empowerment and achievement. I want to break the stigma that lifting weights is intimidating or only for a certain type of person. Whether you’re just starting or looking to hit new personal bests, I’m here to guide and support you on your fitness journey. Let’s work together to help you feel strong, confident, and unstoppable.
Mission
Hi, I’m Vicky, a fully qualified Level 4 Strength and Conditioning Coach and Divisional Powerlifting Referee for the British Drug-Free Powerlifting Association, based at Motiv8 Exercise and Fitness in King’s Lynn. My passion is helping you to improve both your physical and mental health through strength training. My goal is to empower you to feel confident, strong and motivated.
If you’ve ever felt intimidated by the weight room, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. From functional fitness sessions that get your heart pumping to personalised strength training, you’ll leave each session feeling accomplished and energised.
I also offer nutritional coaching for fat loss, reverse dieting, and macro tracking - without restrictive, fad diets. I believe in balance and that no food needs to be completely off-limits for you to achieve your goals and enjoy life.
If you’re interested in powerlifting, I can help you get started, from understanding the rules to finding the right federation and mastering the essential cues for competition. Whether you want to lift, get stronger, or just need someone to talk to, I’m here to support you on your journey to becoming your strongest self.
